About us

The Ningxiang Social Welfare Institution was established in Dec, 2002, which is the only social welfare institution established and maintained by government in Ningxiang City. The building of the Institution is contributed by China Charity Federation, compatriots of Macao and the personalities of various circles. It is located on Labakou covering an area of about 4000 m². Gardens and buildings scattered here and there, the environment is graceful and quiet.

The Abandoned Baby Centre has adopted about 50 babies since it was built. Most of babies are deformity or have organ illness. Now they all live a happy life because the society gives them more and more attentions. They will recover from the insult.

We believe, the abandoned children who live here will have a good future and can relive themselves.

Since the start of our Adoption Center for Deserted Children, we have welcomed
fifty-two deserted children sent by the county and township goverments and public
security units. After the considerate care of our workders, most of them have seen
a healthy growth. Among them, 38 children have been adopted by families which have
no kids and are in good economic condition. And 12 disadvantage children have been
helped and cured. we have achieved the goal of finding the family for the deserted
child and the child for the no-kid family.
The adopters should have the following conditions at the same time.
1.no kids(deformed abandoned children excluded)
2.with the ability of raising and educating the adoptee.
3.have no disease which forbids the adoption.
4.the adopter(the spouse both) should be over 30 years old.
5.the male adopter who has no wife and adopts the female, their age gap should be
over 40 years old.
